Jesus in the Margins

Rick McKinley, pastor of Imago Dei in Portland, has a tremendous heart for his people. Jesus came to the margins, to offer hope to the hopeless.
Jesus in the Margins focuses on the predominate pains of American's today; divorce, physical abuse, sexual abuse, depression, loneliness... Addressing the pain brought by a life surrounded and captured by sin with the freedom and victory of Christ on the cross.

Faith of a Child

• Jesus calls us to have the faith of children, what does this mean?
• Children know how to stand in wonder. In awe of the creation of God.
• Children know how to be creative. Made in the image of their creator, they create. They have imagination.
• Children know how to be honest. Brutally honest. If we could be honest with one another we could begin to confess the sin that separates us.
