having a million dollars isn't what it used to be, but consider the fact that the average household in the US has $8,000 in credit card debt and you see a chasm. Both sides of the chasm are waiting to hear from you.
There are lines of private jets waiting to get into Nantucket airport (80% of private flights are now for personal use, says the Times) at the same time there are people living off home equity loans. Weird stuff.
