Negotiation Parameters Meeting

I attended the Board Study Session yesterday. Everything is planned and the School Board is briefed and asks questions. All the administrators involved in negotiations are at the meeting. A 1-page memo defines the proposed bargaining parameters, district goals for the process and summarizes the financial planning that reserves funds for labor negotiations. The second page summarizes where we are in the negotiation cycle with 13 unions.

Contracts are constantly being negotiated with 13 unions on 1-2 year cycles and the state legislature constantly negotiating the budget, benefits packages etc...As always, in Northshore the administrative systems are in order and in control.
