Benefits from the Past

Thoughts from La Conna's walk with Karen.

Do we have a culture that is so caught up in the present that we don't give crdit to the past. Was it that way in our parent's generation.

Karen remembers a grandpa that didn't go to church. At his funeral people shared stories about the Depression and the farm. A friend lost a job and took another job. Her grandpa gave his friend his car to get to work. Or hobos would wander through his farm and he would give a meal or a place to sleep.
