Eastlake Trail is Open!
The 11-mile East Lake Sammamish Trail, connecting Redmond to Issaquah, is available for use, though its official opening is Tuesday. This critical link in the area's system of trails for hikers, runners and cyclists has had a long history marked by numerous obstacles. In some areas, the trail cuts in front of homes, separating them from direct access to the lake.
