Task Forces

I undestand the purpose of the Instructional Task Force. We are looking at adding creative, new programs like International School or Environmental School or a PACE Junior High Program while we look at encouraging some students to move from crowded schools to schools with declining enrollment. It is social engineering.

But we are four meetings into it, twelve hours, and it is soooooooo boring. We have been going through very basic introductions to school finance, demographics and current special programs. I understand that the students and community need background before we talk but ouch, it is a real challenge to get through those evenings. I am really looking forward to the brainstorming and analysis stage.
